Privacy Policy

Last updated 25 July 2026

Australian Cow is a small blog, and this policy is deliberately short because we collect very little.

What we collect

If you email us or use the contact form, we receive whatever you send — typically your name, email address and message. We use it to reply to you, and for nothing else. We don't sell it, rent it or add you to a mailing list without you asking.

Like almost every website, our web host records standard server logs: IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time. These are generated automatically by the hosting provider and used for security and troubleshooting.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no tracking cookies of its own and runs no advertising networks. If we ever add analytics, we'll update this page and say so plainly.

Third parties

The site is hosted by Hostinger, whose own privacy terms apply to the server logs described above. If the contact form is connected to a form handling service, your message passes through that provider on its way to our inbox.

Your information

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@australiancow.com and we'll action it.

Accuracy of content

Articles on this site are general information about farming, animals and rural living. They are not veterinary, legal, financial or agronomic advice. Always confirm animal health decisions with your vet and legal requirements with your state department of agriculture or primary industries.

Changes

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above changes with it.
